The quickest way to reach me is Settings → Feedback in the app. You can also email [email protected]. I read every message.
The summary is written by Apple's on-device model, so it needs:
On other iPhones the card simply doesn't appear; everything else works the same.
Your check-ins add up to a picture you can look back on.
Look back for patterns. The trend chart shows your mood by day, week or month, with the average for the period and the change from the one before. Tap or drag across the chart to look at any point. The tag view shows which tags come up most, and your check-in rate and streaks show how often you've logged.
Compare tagged days with your usual days. Tags help you notice links, like how days tagged #poorSleep or #running tend to go compared with the rest. The AI summary can point this out for you, and a CSV export lets you look at it yourself.
The AI summary. If your iPhone supports Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later), Apple Intelligence is turned on and Feely is set to English, Feely generates a weekly or monthly summary: a short headline, a few sentences on how the period went and one "Worth noticing" observation. It compares the period with your own usual level and patterns. It's generated on your iPhone by Apple's on-device model, and your notes are not uploaded. The numbers come from the app; the AI only puts them into words. It describes patterns and never gives advice or diagnoses. A weekly summary needs check-ins on 3 of the last 7 days, and a monthly one needs 7 of the last 30. On other iPhones, or in Czech or Finnish, the card simply doesn't appear.
Use your own AI tool. If you like, you can export your check-ins for any date range as a CSV file (Settings → CSV Export → Export CSV) and give it to an AI chat app of your choice. This is completely your choice: you create the file, you decide where it goes, and it goes into your own account with that tool, under that tool's terms. Feely doesn't send the file anywhere itself, and your entries are not sent to us. Here's a prompt you can copy:
Here is a CSV export of my mood check-ins. Each row is one check-in with a mood score from 0 to 10, any tags, and sometimes a note.
Please describe observations only:
1. Overall patterns in my scores over time.
2. Which tags tend to appear on days with higher or lower scores than usual.
3. Any differences between days of the week.
Feely is a personal journal, not a medical device. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your entries stay on your iPhone.
No. The summary is generated on your iPhone by Apple's on-device model. Feely only uses the on-device model, never Apple's cloud model, so your entries and notes aren't sent to us, to Apple's servers or anywhere else for it.
Yes. Turn on Settings → Tag Categories. Your tags are then sorted into Mood, Activity and Body & Health, each in its own colour, on the check-in screen and in the chart's tag breakdown, with many more ready-made tags to pick from. It's off by default, which shows one short list. The two lists are kept separately, and your entries don't change when you switch, so you can go back at any time.
If you restore your new iPhone from an iCloud backup, Feely's entries come with it. You can also use Settings → JSON Backup & Restore → Backup JSON to save a file, send it to the new phone (AirDrop, Files, Mail) and restore it there. That includes your tags, colours and settings.
Deleting Feely deletes your entries, tags and settings from your iPhone. We have no copy, and reinstalling the app starts empty: downloading it again doesn't restore anything from iCloud Backup. Before you delete it, save a backup file in Settings → JSON Backup & Restore → Backup JSON and keep it in iCloud Drive or Files, so you can restore it later. To free up space without losing anything, offload Feely instead (iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Feely → Offload App). Your entries stay on the phone and are back when you reinstall it.
Sorry, we can't: your entries are stored only on your iPhone, and we have no copy. Two things can bring them back:
Without either, entries from a lost or reset phone can't be recovered. Settings → Reset App asks you to confirm and suggests a backup first, because it can't be undone.
No. Feely runs on iPhone and keeps your entries on that phone. There's no account or server, which is the point.
Only each check-in's score and time, as a State of Mind entry. Never your tags or notes. Feely never reads anything from Health. It's off by default: Feely offers it once when you first open the app, and you can turn it on or off any time in Settings → Apple Health.
Check that notifications are allowed in iOS Settings → Notifications → Feely. The reminder only comes on days you haven't logged yet. If you've already checked in that day, that's why it stayed quiet.
Settings → CSV Export: pick a date range and tap Export CSV. The file opens in Numbers or Excel.
Settings → Reset App deletes everything on your phone. Deleting the app does too. Data written to Apple Health is deleted in the Health app. See the privacy policy for details.
Feely is available in English, Czech and Finnish. On first launch it follows your iPhone's language if that's Czech or Finnish, and uses English otherwise. You can switch any time in Settings → Language. The AI summary only works in English.
No. Feely is a personal journal. It doesn't diagnose, treat or give advice. If you're struggling, please talk to someone you trust or a health professional.
